Levi's Plaza Park

As you walk down the busy Embarcadero in San Francisco, you see hoards of people and constant traffic. For a respite, cross the road and enter Levi's Plaza Park, 1270 Battery Street.  It sits across from Pier 23 and is hidden behind trees and scrubs.  As you enter the park, the sound of creek water and fountains greets you.  Sit on a bench and enjoy the quiet and serenity.  There are brick walls, ponds, bridges, flowers and a clean lovely environment.  The park has guards and there are rules against blankets on the grass but overall it is not a park for the homeless but rather a temporary stopping off place for the traveler, the office worker or the person who needs a zen moment.
